Special Sessions
This year, on top of the main conference tracks, we are featuring the following three special sessions:
SS1: Hardware Solutions for Embedded Systems
This session covers a wide range of topics from mathematical foundations to practical engineering design
in the general areas of electronics and telecommunications.
Topics:
- Hardware/software co-design
- Digital Control Units
- Digital logic, technology mapping and reconfigurable computing
- Timing, area and power consumption
- Reliability and fault tolerant systems
- Applications for Cryptography, Communications and networking, Application acceleration, Evolvable and bio-inspired applications, Medical solutions
If you intend to participate, a Short Paper (two pages according to the Conference Submission Instructions),
including references in English with indication of the session must be submitted before April 15, 2011.
Accepted 2-page Short Papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings. Authors of accepted Short Papers
will be contacted by the publisher directly regarding the ICSEng Conference publication guideline.
Please note that the submission instructions are slightly different than for regular conference papers.
The authors of the accepted papers will be invited to submit an extended version for further review and publication in the Special Issue of
International Journal of Electronics and Telecommunications (JET).
Only the papers personally presented and discussed at the Conference and significantly extended are eligible for consideration by
International Journal of Electronics and Telecommunications. Authors will be notified of acceptance to the journal after the conference
by August 31, 2011. It is anticipated that the final full papers will be published in JET vol. 57 no. 4 (December, 2011).
